Brendan Fraser stars as Dan Sanders - the bad guy and victim in this family comedy. He plays a real estate developer that wishes to take over the Oregon wilderness with homes and buildings. The animals that have lived in that land their whole lives see him and his plans, and they develop a plan to ensure that they do not lose their homes.They decide to fight and bring Dan down with their many pranks and tricks, and are determined to drive him out, no matter what it takes.
You think this would be a cute movie for the whole family to enjoy – but unfortunately this was not the case. The movie completely bombed and was lacking in almost every department of cute humor, good messages, and something for the family to enjoy. Usually, I really like Brendan Fraser's characters as he brings a certain innocent sweetness to the movie, but in this one his character was just not cut out for him.
Critics couldn't agree with me more. Some even said that this could be the worst movie of the year. They say that the movie really tests your patience it's so obnoxious, and it was just a pure disappointment. It's too bad too, I always find it refreshing to find a new sweet kid's movie that adults can even appreciate.
